Fern Tan’s hemisphere of sound can only be described as a collage of ultimate self-expression, through all its bright and lucid colors. Having officially begun his career under the moniker of “Fern.”, he burst onto the local scene with his dance-pop-inspired hit “Into You” at just 17 years old.
In the following four years, LOVELESS and DREAMWALKER were released on streaming platforms, delighting many newfound fans with his distinctly sentimental style of sound. Fern has found continued growth as a signee under Island Records Philippines, with an overwhelmingly positive response the singles he releases.
In 2020, he released a single called “Blinded” with 4.4 million streams on Spotify, followed by “Want U Bad” which amassed 17.5 million streams on Spotify. His most recent album, released in 2021, features several singles with significant streams, including “Whatever This Is” with 6.1 million streams on Spotify, “Baby Rye” with 1.2 million streams on Spotify, and “Kagandahan” with 1.3 million streams on Spotify.
Currently, he is in the process of helping establish the newly signed UMG musical collective of KINDRED, as a key member undertaking the roles of a vocalist and producer.
