Insomniacks is a Malaysian pop band from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Formed in 2015, the band comprises of Iqie (lead vocalist and guitarist), Wan Arif Iskandar (bass) and Danial Doodye (rhythm guitar).

The band rose to fame in 2018 when their second song ‘Pulang’ received a great response – receiving a collective views of 56 Million on YouTube while achieving “Most Week in Charts 2019 (Domestic Song)”, “Most Streamed Domestic 2019” and “Top 10 Most Streamed Singles In Malaysia” according to the Malaysian Recording Industry Association (RIM). With this song, Spotify listed Insomniacks in Malaysia’s Top 5 Spotify Wrapped 2019 Chart as the Top 5 Most Streamed Local Artists. With the support received, Insomniacks retained the record as the only group to stay in the RIM chart for the longest time (a record of 190 weeks) up to date.

In February 2022, ‘Sempurna’ was released and well received by the public – as of August 2022, the song remained as the Top 10 Most Streamed Domestic Song on RIM charts for 24 consecutive weeks; while already receiving 8 million collective views on YouTube. Since then, they have released several singles including ‘Igauan Malam’ which currently has 3.2M streams on Spotify.
