The mellow pop that Maseta creates is never far from the life and spirit of a young adult of his era. The Duren Sawit representative grew up with the songs he wrote – failed love, student life, restless growing up, and all the urgency that urged him to sing. He spills it all into a nest of sometimes broken and casual lyrics that he combines with whatever instruments are nearby. His musical energy comes from the songs of 2000s bands; hence, today his songs often sound like that – 2000s pop, folky guitar, and movie soundtracks.
