Tor often takes the lead in songwriting and production, crafting emotional, introspective lyrics that deal with relationships, disappointment, and the blurred lines between reality and dreams, a concept reflected in their name.
Their major breakthrough came with the smash hit “Nicotine” and continued with other chart-topping songs like “My Favorite.” The band’s artistic ambition and production quality were fully showcased in their debut album, Q.E.D. (an acronym for a Latin phrase meaning ‘which was to be demonstrated’), and their first large-scale sold-out show, the DAYDREAMING concert.
