MORVASU is the artistic alias of Vasuphon Kriangprapakit, an influential figure in Thai indie culture. While initially known as the vocalist for the band Ten to Twelve, his solo career with What The Duck has brought him widespread acclaim.

As a musician, he often identifies more as a “Storyteller” than just a singer. His style blends laid-back Indie and Lo-Fi Pop with R&B rhythms, utilizing less complex instrumentation for a warmer, more intimate feel. His songwriting focuses on translating mundane, day-to-day experiences into deeply felt, often slightly melancholic or whimsical songs, such as the viral success “Melbourne.”

Critically, MORVASU maintains a dual career as an award-winning Commercial Director (at Tender Film), allowing him to bring a highly cinematic and outstanding level of visual storytelling to his own music videos.
