Okasian has been positioned as one of the iconic artists in Korean Hip Hop scene for over a decade.
His rap career started in 2012, with the first album [Boarding Procedures], which was highly praised by Hip Hop fans and critics for being one of the earliest localized trap album.
Okasian’s [Orca Tape] album also played a pivotal moment in the Korean Hip Hop scene, as it featured Keith Ape, Reddy, and Bryan Chase, which was the start of their crew’s movement, The Cohort. This led to his mega hit global single with Keith Ape, [It G MA] in 2015.
In 2016, Okasian and Bryan Chase’s SoundCloud project [The Last Orcas] created another impactful momentum with tracks like “Let Us Prey”, “Walkin (Remix)”, and “Underwater Bank” which led to their partnership with 88rising and THE BLACKLABEL.
Okasian collaborated with top artists like G-Dragon (GD), CL, Jay Park, Beenzino, and was featured on XXL as “10 Korean Rappers You Must Know”.
Lil Moshpit, Sik-K “LOV3” (feat. Okasian, Bryan Chase) is known to be The Best Korean Hip Hop Track of 2025.
