THE TOYS is a highly talented and multi-faceted Thai artist and producer under the What The Duck record label. His real name is Thanwa Boonsoongnern. He gained widespread recognition after his self-produced song, “Na Nao Tee Laew” (Last Winter), went viral.
He is celebrated as a prodigious musician, having won the 9th Overdrive Guitar Contest at a young age. His work is notable for his sole contribution to production—he writes, arranges, and plays virtually all the instruments on his tracks, including guitar, bass, drums, and various keyboards, blending elements of Synth-Pop, R&B, and Jazz into a distinctive sound. He is considered one of the leading figures in the modern Thai music scene. Beyond performing, THE TOYS is also an executive, founding the WHOOP records sub-label and a legend music producer to many famous T-pop artists such as Billkin, PP krit, BUS and many more.
