Emerging as a promising rapper, YHB Sleepsalot commenced his lyrical journey at the age of 13, crafting his unique style and musical identity by the age of 18. YHB Sleepsalot started releasing original songs at 16, using beats he found on YouTube and refining his skills through online tutorials. His song “Karabujan” caught the attention of prominent acts across the region, such as Sonaone and ALYPH. This initial traction was followed by “Terminal” and “Blow Up,” which earned the then-independent artist a spot on Spotify’s New Era: Asian Hip Hop playlist. The young rapper has also opened for top regional acts including MK K Clique, Kidd Santhe, and Tuju K Clique.
In 2021, he released his single “Don’t Miss Demo” and collaborated with SonaOne on “Chosen” and “Jatuh Boi”.
